He was able to accommodate our schedule. Kyle and Nick showed up on time, were courteous and friendly, worked quickly, carefully, and efficiently. They were able to move us without a single misstep, well under the time I had thought it would take.

But what really set Kyle and Nick apart was that they genuinely seemed to be enjoying themselves. They took obvious pride in their work and in acting as a team as they solved a puzzle.  It wasn't surprising to learn that they had known each other since grade school and that all of the folks working with and for Kyle were old acquaintances.

to an 8th floor apartment in Santa Rosa.  They were prompt, friendly, courteous and very efficient.  We heard about them the night before my friend was to move in.   When we called late Friday they said they could be there at 10:00 Saturday which was unexpected but just what we needed and a tremendous help.    Much care was taken in unloading and nothing was damaged even though they had to carry a couch up 8 flights because the elevator was not big enough.  This apartment was smaller than the last and they even gave us some suggestions on placement of furniture.  These movers were very professional and I would highly recommend them. read less

Fresh Start Movers moved my husband and I from Healdsburg to Napa.  Door to door, it took them about 8 hours (with about 1 hour's worth of breaks that we were not charged for), and we had a ton of... read moreFresh Start Movers moved my husband and I from Healdsburg to Napa.  Door to door, it took them about 8 hours (with about 1 hour's worth of breaks that we were not charged for), and we had a ton of stuff.  

These 2 guys worked their tails off, hustled hard, and were incredibly efficient with our move.  Above and beyond that, they were very careful with our things, wrapping most items in blankets with shrink wrap before moving them out the door onto the truck.  They placed each item in the specified room upon arrival at our new home, and broke down and rebuilt our bed frames.  

These guys are really really good at what they do, and really seem to care about the client.  I was incredibly impressed with their service and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

In terms of pricing, I think they're very reasonable compared to other companies in the north bay area.  I will note they were one of the only companies that didn't quote us "double time" on a Sunday in June.  I think we live in a world where a lot of companies are ready and willing to ding you and take advantage of your lack of knowledge in a certain industry (like moving). Fresh Start Movers is not that company.  They are trustworthy, completely transparent, and really hardworking.
