Everything was packed with care and when the big items were moved out they were wrapped and carefully negotiated down our the steep, switchback stairs. They prioritized getting my daughter's room put together first in the new house so we could get her settled in. Kyle was incredibly responsive and answered my calls and emails right away. He took the time to make sure I understood every line item and charge on my invoice so there were no surprises. By the end of the move yesterday, Kyle's estimate proved to be totally accurate. The team had to disassemble and reassemble some furniture and they took great care to get it right. The moving team took great care to thoroughly protect every piece of furniture. Pictures, televisions and many other special items were specially wrapped and stored separately on the truck to prevent damage. We just had 2 pieces to move - a bookcase and a sofa from the apartment garage up to our apartment on the third floor. They were pleasant, efficient, and very competent the whole way through! From the first phone call to the move itself. On time, called in advance as he let me know he would do. My small dog usually barks at people but she actually liked fresh start movers lol. They even helped rearrange the pieces once they were in the apartment so we could make the right arrangement. It really was such a positive experience. My mom was here to help pick the layout and she loved them as well. Kyle the owner joked that he had some extra fresh start movers shirts and he'd hire my mom as the "mom" to help pick layouts for furniture lol. "Can you start Monday?" It was very positive. We liked that they wore fresh start movers shirts as well. They looked professional which matched their professional demeanor. I'm also grateful that they say no job is too big or too small. Our job was small but they had a one hour minimum (which apparently was hard to find! Most companies I could find had a 2-4 hour minimum and only took big jobs). Kyle and his staff Cameron didn't treat us like they were in a hurry to be done with our small job. They treated our job with care and courtesy and weren't satisfied until we were satisfied. They were very present and made it clear our move for this hour was the most important thing to them. It was a delight! Thank you fresh start movers! One more thing- this is a new apartment complex for us and my mom was having a hard time finding it. I had a hard time knowing where my mom was or how to help her but Kyle knew exactly where she was and understood how she could be confused. He said they had experienced this difficulty on their way here before finding the apartment complex. Kyle was able to explain in a clear, respectful, and helpful way to her and my mom (thanks to his direction) was able to find us! We were on the balcony and all called to her "Mom!!" until she saw us lol. It was fun. Anyways. They are very kind and hardworking and took great care of each furniture piece as well as making sure we were satisfied. It ended up being a difficult move with narrow hallways, a steeply slanted driveway and lots of large, heavy furniture pieces, yet they handled it like the pros they are.
